About Spector Lumenex
Spector Lumenex was formed in 1985 to
realise a technological lead with innovative audio systems and
compact & secure Public Address & Alarm Systems in
Industrial applications both of which demanded high reliability
in aggressive environments.
In mid 2001 the international group Tyco,
acquired the Company. Spector is now part of the Tyco
Engineering Services division; it is interesting to note that
the Tyco Group worldwide is worth more than Ford Motor Co and
General Motors combined, based upon market capitalisation.
In recent years the Company developed the
extremely sophisticated microprocessor based ACE System (the
particular Trade name for the Spector Lumenex range of Public
Address & Alarm systems and stands for Adaptable Communications
Engine).
It will therefore become apparent that high
technology is a feature of the Company's designs and
developments. This is achieved for simplicity in the field
and the ability for maintenance personnel to undertake tests
remotely where conditions are not always compatible with ease
of access, for example on remote Offshore Oil/Gas platforms.
Regardless of how rapidly the technology industry is changing,
Spector Lumenex will continue to stay on the top of new
developments.
Such universally accepted advanced technology
ensures longer life, more reliability, economies in weight and
size - proving that Spector Lumenex are indeed World
leaders in the field of Communications.
No contract is complete without its comprehensive
documentation the keynote being Quality & Assurance
throughout. Both of these key services earning the Company the
International stamp of credibility and approval
