Mentor Orbital

Mentor ORBITAL is a Zone 1 certified Explosionproof Intercom station. The station operates on the decentralised principle, it requires NO exchange, NO special power supplies nor does it require external safety barriers.

• Connection between stations is via a simple 2 wire (twisted pair) operational intercom system open architecture allowing a range of interconnection topologies to be configured e.g. star, loop, radial or spur.
• Mentor ORBITAL can also be configured for emergency lifeboat muster stations on offshore platforms known as Mustercoms, and in this mode critical paths are automatically surveyed.
• A charger is incorporated to float an Explosionproof battery where no-break continuity of supply and service is required.
